Air Travel

Getting there and back again is relatively easy. American Airlines, United, and jetBlue all fly to Puerto Plata International Airport (POP), Dominican Republic from the US. It is not a long journey- only a 3 hour flight from Newark, New Jersey as a point of comparison. You will need standard international travel documentation to pass through customs.

Shuttle Information

The ride from Puerto Plata is approximately 25 minutes and takes you through the town of Playa Sosua. Natura Cabana has a shuttle service. They will gladly coordinate airport pickup - your friendly driver will be waiting for you as you exit the airport terminal. Transport is directly to the Natura Cabana reception hut where an exotic welcome drink of freshly squeezed juice awaits. The shuttle ride is included in the cost of the retreat if you travel on our scheduled arrival and departure dates. Otherwise the total cost for the ride is $35 US. This is the cost for the one-way trip, not the cost per person.
